Marie Ungar is a writer and editor from Charlottesville, Virginia. Her work appears in Four Way Review, Lake Effect, Mass Poetry, ASAP/J, and elsewhere. Her writing has received awards and recognition from Harvard University, Hollins University, and the Fralin Museum of Art. She has served as the poetry editor of the Harvard Advocate, as an editorial intern at Coffee House Press, as an editorial assistant at Boston Review, and as a reader for the Best American Short Stories. She enjoys going on walks with friends and arguing about all the pretty and ugly details of the buildings they pass. She also enjoys sharing poems she loves with friends and strangers at @poetrygroupchat.

Marie is currently pursuing a Master's in contemporary English literature at Oxford and editing nonfiction and poetry at the Oxonian Review.
