Marie Ungar is a writer and editor from Charlottesville, Virginia, now based in NYC. Her work appears in Four Way Review, Lake Effect, Mass Poetry, ASAP/J, and elsewhere. Her writing has received awards and recognition from Harvard University, Hollins University, and the Fralin Museum of Art. She has served as the poetry editor of the Harvard Advocate, as an intern at Coffee House Press, and as an editorial assistant at Boston Review. Currently, she is interning at the Aragi Agency; reading fiction from countless magazines for the Best American Short Stories anthology series; and editing nonfiction, poetry, and fiction at the Oxonian Review. Marie enjoys going on walks with friends and arguing about all the pretty and ugly details of the buildings they pass.
